Iliana's First Popsicle
Thursdays are always hard for the children and I because Daddy has to go to school, I get lonely when he's gone on these days, and I know that he'll be home eventually, but it always leaves a worry in the pit of my stomach when he's so far away at school. Two more years, and it will be all worth while. On these days, I have a lazy day, usually an easy dinner, and some TV.... tonight we had left overs of my cheesecake factory version copycat meatloaf, mash and veggies, afterwards the kids had a bit of ice cream. All that Ice Cream I bought, I had to make it into good use right!!
It's Another Silly Day in Lailie Land
It started in the morning when she saw the reflection of my water bottle act as a prism when light hit it, it made a rainbow..Lailie jumped into our bed and woke me up saying "Look mom "Wainbow" It was neat how she remembered what we talked about yesterday because when "Daddy" got home the day before, we watched PBS and learned about prisms, then after the show Nick and I took out some glasses filled it with water and made our very own rainbows in the kitchen...Lailie remembered and spotted one right in our bedroom, first thing that next morning! Later that afternoon I looked over at lailie playing with her doll house I thought, aww how cute...but a few minutes later I look over and she's on the roof of the doll house like a mini godzilla! It was too funny, I have to get a shot of that next time around..Then that evening after dinner as Lailie drank a sip of my soda, Lailie say's look mom and she told me..."mom say "ahhh" So I'd say "ahh" then right after she opened her mouth and said "so-dahh" and we'd go back and forth with me saying "ahh" and her saying "so-dahh" Her little nose scrunched up as she said it, I got it on video and it cracks me up everytime I play it back!! She was such a clown today! I love it when she's like this
