I got this plumeria plant back last winter from a man in North las vegas who was giving it away on craigslist, I told Nick to go get it and I said what the heck, I've always wanted a plumeria plant/ tree cause it reminds me of back home! Nick used to pick plumeria flowers and I used to put them in my hair, that was his way of buying me flowers then...I was thinking of getting Lailie into a halau..Since I was in halau kawailehua in san jose, I used to dance.. I want my daughters to carry on and do the same, and maybe Seth could be a sexy drummer.. haha nah, he can do his break dancing like Nick wants for him.. But I soon wanted to take their pictures hawaiian style for Iliana's 1st birthday..I'm ordering leis and hula skirts from my grandma, It would be so nice to get to pick real plumerias and put them in their hair for the photos, I thought to myself, because this tree stayed dormant for so long it was a dead one...Until Friday!! it started to bud...green buds came sprouting out then my morning today, the leaves sprouted out and became huge! In two days, my plant came to life "It's ALIVE muah ha hah! (had to do it) haha ...anyhow, I am so thrilled that my watering and patience has paid off, and soon we'll have fragrant flowers that we get to make leis with and wear in our hair, maybe not in time for our photo shoot but in time for summer!! I wonder what color the flowers are! How cute will my babies be with those flowers in their hair...And the smell, oh i miss the smell, it'll bring back those fond memories!
