1. I save when they have coupons that no store can beat. i.e yesterday I bought a few things but the things I bought that had coupons were Clorox 2 (can't live without it) which were 10.99 for the big one but it was 2.00 off with the coupon, and came out to $9 dollars where as wal-mart has theirs for $17.00 or more, also the dove shampoo I bought last week (the big kind) yeah less than $5 bucks with the coupon, normally if you were to buy that much at wal-mart even with a coupon it'd be $14.00 bucks or more
2. Samples...there's nothing like a Sunday after Church following a Costco shop fest...which includes googling at new products, saving on necessities, and did I mention SAMPLING new foods! Instead of taking the kids out to eat we walk around wal-mart sampling pastas, crackers with cheese, salsa and chips, yogurt, fruit drink, pizza, chicken, ice-cream, specialty foods on their road shows..you name it they got it..and we get our children to eat out of their daily food groups in one place without spending a dime..Seriously we leave feeling full, then the long ride home from Henderson is worth it cause it leaves us room for their beautiful nap.ahhh...mazing
3.Their Cheap Food Court.. you can't beat $1.50 for a hot dog and drink or $3.00 for a Caesar chicken salad, or $10.00 for a huge pizza with all the toppings! When I get lazy and we're on a budget, besides our ritual Popeye's 99 cent for two pieces of chicken Tuesdays, Costco for lunch or dinner is a life saver!
4. Their return policy is awesome! with them always have a roadshow casing new things!, it's hard not to buy stuff..Their Carter's baby clothes and specialty items ..so cheap!! Even flowers so cheap..2 dozen roses $14.00 gee Nick can splurge on me! ha ha and I do buy flowers there at least once a month..Carter's dresses usually 12.00 at babies r us, only $5.99 there! thinks like microfiber cloths, computer ink specialty items are cheap and, the return policy...You can return anything even without a receipt even if it's been open and used!! How awesome is that? Even though we haven't returned much it's nice to know what insurance policy we have when buying from Costco!
5. (possibly my favorite reason) I get magazines at 30% off the cover stand. I get so many subscriptions for free, probably though offers and thing I've bought in the past..But my magazines are endless...so much to read! I got parents, ladies home journal, used to get Martha, and Oprah, I now have better homes and baby talk ..and Nick has a couple..This Sunday my temptation got the best of me and I had add to the collection and buy this magazine,shop smart ;) which will now be a ritual and I will but it monthly..It's usually $4.99 but I bought it for $3.50 or less I think..it had things in there about saving money, and new product guides, I cant wait to dig deeper into it! it's a great magazine made by consumer guide, has no ads, and keeps me on my toes on all the information my brain is attaining!! My indulgence of magazines I think may never get too far..
