Lailie's Silly Day

Omg the funniest thing happened today, we were at the social security office getting Iliana's new SS# and as we were leaving, Lailie follows behind me, Lailie stops to look out the window at flowers, (little did she know it was a window).... I yell "let's go" and instead of turning and walking out the door she just takes one step forward, as if to continue on walking and..bang! forehead right into the glass window!, everyone saw and for the first time ever I saw her first expression of "humiliation" if she could talk she'd say "where did that window come from?" [forehead meet window, window meet forehead..not so nice to meet you!"]

Later we went to old navy, and she really wanted this pink soccer ball. She had her first tantrum at the store, because i took the ball away, I carried her out and as soon as I put her down she pried herself away from me, ran back inside through the sliding doors, and picked up the ball as if it were the last living thing on this planet, and said "peeease bawl!?" Only Lailie could get me from being upset at her to loving her in just a half a second, I felt so bad, my heart just melted, but i didn't create a happy ending cause she never got her ball, but she got over it quick when she saw a big fire truck outside the store. When Lailie throws a fit, it always has meaning behind it, never does she act like this randomly and that's why instead of it being annoying ......to me, it's adorable
